Avoid HP like the plague. I had a problem that was so bad I had to edit my computer’s registery...and even that didn’t work! Online for hours with some very helpful people in India, but couldn’t get it to print. I’m very happy with an Canon 3 in 1.

I 100% agree. I have BOTH an HP laptop and a printer, and they are probably the worst devices, hands down.

Avoid the Canon Pixmia line of printers, Canon used to be a wonderful brand, but the newer, all in ones are light on quality and they have drop dead dates on the ink cartridges.

As in, you cannot have them refiled, the printer will reject them.

Avoid HP like the plague.

Why?

We use HP LaserJet printers almost exclusively in my family and have zero problems with any of them, software, hardware, or otherwise.

I’ve had nothing but HP printers for ten years. They are, to me, the best. I have a C5180 that I’ve had for over a year. It prints darn near photo quality.
