Hi Sal Don't be sorry, its been many years and I love to think and talk about the farm... It was smart of you to get another goat. Flock animals that are alone are fearful usually as thats not in their nature to be alone. LOL at your remark about hubby.... :O)

We *had* to get another goat.
Poor “Baa” had bonded to my 3 old geese and it was pitiful to see him solemnly marching behind them wherever they went.

[Bob T. Gander was the undisputed leader of the “flock” and it made me sad to see Baa so debased]

Now that he has little Spike, he’s the king of their rock and dirt pile “mountain”and she dutifully worships him.

They drive hubby nuts.
His trike shop is in their pasture and every time he opens one of the shop doors, they try to come in and beg for animal crackers.

One spring night, I was sitting on the ATV listening to the peepers in the pond on the other side of the fence and Spike jumped up beside me and sat down.

When he came out to see what was going on, she was cuddled up against me, hind legs dangling down from the ATV seat, listening to the peepers, too.

He just groaned at what must been have such a syrupy sight and said “Gimme a freakin’ break”.

[”A Girl & Her Goat”]....:))

Spike adores him.
She trots so close behind him that she steps on his heels every couple of steps.

All Baa cares about is removing his collar so he can be “wild and free”, animal crackers and getting his fat butt scratched “just right”.

Crazy critters....:)
