Nope, you are putting words in my mouth. There is a major difference between a couple who have given it a shot and a young couple with no commitment.
So, if like our good friend Philus had wanted, they got married and then divorce right away, would that have been ok with you? How does a marriage license prove that they ‘gave it a shot?’
Yeah, it was the left that subtly changed the
language to include divorcees, widows and unwed
mothers as equal by adopting the catchall phrase
“ Single parent” as though there is no actual difference
in the reality of those situations.
Now some who claim to be conservatives cannot even see
the obvious differences.
