>>If your teenage daughter had a baby, chose to remain unmarried yet keep the baby’s father in its life, and, after you telling her to put the baby up for adoption, decided she was going to be a mother to her child, would you disown her? Kick her out of your house? What would you do?<<

Ooo, I’ll answer!
I would explain to her that the most unselfish thing she could do for that baby is to give him/her a mom and dad who love each other so much that the love encompasses their family.

I would help her find a great adoption agency that would let her keep in contact with her child. Lots of them out there.

If she decided to keep the baby, I would know that I did all I could do and love them just the same.

How’s that?

Thank you. How do you know that isn’t what happened with the Palins? The point is, *she* makes the decision and you stand with her and provide the love to the baby that a grandma should.

The fact that you would be so willing and eager to give your own flesh and blood away, and pressure you own daughter to do so, is beyond creepy and disturbing.

Well I think that sucks, lol. You’d encourage your kid to give away her child, your grandchild. Of course, it would be the most selfless thing to do. But really, you’d encourage your kid to give away your family when you’re trying to adopt? Makes no sense to me. Hey, if your kid had a kid, you wouldn’t have to adopt, you could just raise your grandchild. But that wouldn’t fit with the agenda.
