The pair, parents to 2-month-old son Tripp, broke up 'a few weeks ago'
Bristol Palin and her fiancé Levi Johnston have broken up, two sources tell PEOPLE.
The split happened "a few weeks ago," according to a source close to the couple, but it's unclear what precipitated it. "It was a mutual thing," adds the source.
"It kind of just happened," says the source, referring to the split. "I thought they would stick it out. But I think they can work together to raise Tripp."
Despite the breakup, Levi still sees the couple's son. Levi's dad, Keith Johnston, told PEOPLE recently that his son is a devoted and "proud father."
Bristol, meanwhile, is attending Wasilla High, taking a class to supplement course work she is completing at home. She also is considering enrolling in college next fall and studying nursing.

I agree that we can’t treat them like abusers. Abusers don’t deserve to keep their kids. But we do need to discourage single parenthood, in general. It’s not healthy for society and they demand more welfare handouts.

Yeah, it was the left that subtly changed the
language to include divorcees, widows and unwed
mothers as equal by adopting the catchall phrase
“ Single parent” as though there is no actual difference
in the reality of those situations.
Now some who claim to be conservatives cannot even see
the obvious differences.

I frankly think that this is just a distractions from the woes of the Obama administration and the economic disaster that he has foisted upon the country. Iroved nominees in the center ring, Pelosi and Reid on one side and the failed nominees on the other.

We glorify single mothers in this society. There is a difference between those who “make mistakes” and the group of girls that got into the “pregnancy pact”.
