... not to mention deaf people ...
One of the most underrated Players on the market with a 4 gig going for $24.99. Only thing is it does not say Apple on it and you do not have to spend 80 bucks.
And you do not have to run around going, “look at what I got!”
I much rather prefer this player:
SanDisk SANSA Clip
Not only does the SANSA Clip have a display and reasonable navigation controls, but the sound quality is excellent and you can use just about any stereo headphone with the 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack. I have the 4 GB version of the Clip and it sounds really good through the Sony MDR-EX85LP in-ear headphones I use.
4 Gigabytes
As usual, you enter a thread referencing Apple with slurs and ad hominem attacks.
The various incarnations of the iPod Shuffle has always been either a linear presentation of the songs in the song list, or a random order play. There has never been a method, before this model, of selecting a specific song, or a specific song list.
Good guess... but the 3G means Third Generation...
Read the specs on your link... that's for a REFURB... Still, it's a nice player.
This thing is a joke... look at the SIZE of the MuVo 100 on the Technical Specs page on your link... or is this a Typo?
Technical Specifications
Notes:
Dimensions (WxHxD): 2.5" x 7.63" x 0.86" Weight: 0.71 oz Storage Capacity(1): 2GB (500 songs), 4GB (1000 songs) Battery Life(2): Up to 10 hours of continuous playback Battery Type: Rechargeable Battery Audio Format: MP3 / WMA / WAV / Audible Connectivity: USB 2.0 Features:
- Direct USB Connection - No cables needed! - One Touch Bass Boost
11GB = Song claim based on 4 minute song encoded at 128 kbps WMA. 1 gigabyte (GB) 1 billion [or 1,000,000.000] bytes. Available capacity will be less. Reported capacity will vary.
2Actual battery life will vary with use.
Oh, and the since the REFURB page claims a $50 savings when you buy the 2GB refurb at $19.99 and a $45 savings when you buy the 4GB refurb at $24.95, the retail price of the non-refurb, regardless of capacity, is $69.95... not that much difference from the iPod Shuffle at $79... which is a LOT SMALLER...
I'll see your 7.63" and raise you a Colossal MP3 Player:
128 MB storage!
At least you can't misplace it...
