Yesterday, I noticed that a friend's Facebook page said that she "became a supporter of Barack Obama." I was surprised by this, because I know her well enough to know that she would never support what Obama promotes and stands for. So out of curiosity I clicked on "Barack Obama" to see what was on his Facebook page.
I spent less than a minute there. I didn't sign or click anything or accept any requests to be an Obama supporter, friend or fan. When I got back to my own page, there was an entry saying that I was one of 5 million plus Obama supporters. I immediately deleted the entry.
I just wanted to let fellow Freepers know about yet another deceptive tactic of the shameless Obama campaign. Never click on Obama!
I don’t spend hours and hours here either especially when the weather is nice. I enjoy FR a lot but not 8-10 hours a day............unless I happen to be working!
Yes. Just type in freerepublic in the search. There are lots of antiFR also.
I still miss Intellivision.
Great. Now you tell me. :(
Is this in the ‘causes’ application, or the ‘pages’ section? Because for the Pages, an official Facebook application, you have to click on ‘become a fan’ to add that page to your list. However, in the third-party ‘causes’ application, as soon as you click on a ‘cause’ (organisation, political figure, etc) you automatically ‘become a supporter’ of that cause and they don’t tell you outright. So then you go to your homepage and you’ll see “far sider is now a supporter of ‘Let’s knit 1000 sweaters for homeless kittens’ on Causes” (or what have you) in your status, just because you thought it looked funny and clicked on it to check it out...
Nevertheless Vista awaits you on the distant horizon :)
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
Besides, Vista won’t run Autocad 9.0, will it?
