If you can remember the 60's, you weren't there.

Can't remember a thing, but somehow I still have the original Sopwith Camel LP. I haven't heard their one big song "Hello, Hello" in about 20 years.

Interesting post. Ronnie Leatherman and John Ike Walton both live here in Kerrville Texas. I know them both. Ronnie is gigging locally a couple nights a week plus a full time job. Great bass player by the way.

Their cover of It's All Over Now, Baby Blue is good. I prefer this one though by the Grateful Dead in 1966. I guess I'm just partial to Garcia's guitar work.

Originator of Acid Rock, and no mention of Kid Charlemagne ?

I don't think so ...

Thanks for the heads up Bruce. I had overlooked that and shouldn't have.

God Bless Ronnie.

Reading about his theories of the universe reminded me of the scene in Animal House with Professor Jennings:

Pinto: Okay. That means that...our whole solar system...could be, like...one tiny atom in the fingernail of some other giant being....This is too much!

That means...one tiny atom in my fingernail could be—

Jennings: Could be one little...tiny universe.

Pinto: Could I buy some pot from you?
