Not sure, but my ear drums seemed to be damaged after I saw him in 85 or 86 in a Phoenix nightclub.

I saw him at the old Long Beach Auditorium in '70 or '71. He was the headliner, the opening acts were the James Gang, and Edgar Winter's White Trash, if memory serves.
Awesome show, all for $3.00 a ticket!

And the dmoke wasn’t all cigarettes. Though Gallagher fans were more beer and whiskey types than potheads.

Bump for the good old days of rock & roll Curiosity got the best of me and I had to look it up. $3.00 in 1970 is the equivalent of about $16.00 today. Still cheap for a show like that one.

Considering my most recent concert, Chris Isaak, cost me $150 for two seats, Id’ say yeah, that’s still a bargain.

Back then we did not know what MJ was, it was just beer and cigs.

This is the album that introduced me to Rory. His tone and dynamics were awesome. An honest, no BS, raw live album. Still a favorite of mine.

What do you think of that
I’m sleeping down at the laundromat
If you should pass by drop right in
But I have no clothes to clean
To put inside the machine
It was the craziest place I’ve ever been
Last heard Rory in 1973...

He was equally good later in his career before he sadly kicked the bucket all too early.
