That instrument happened to be the first Animusic clip that I had ever seen. I was flipping through the channels and saw it on PBS. Whoa! It seemed like something from another planet. The designer must have tripping on some really superior drugs.

Same here. Those clips are a blast. The brains behind ‘em started out as Apple II guys, so I’ve got a warm place in my heart for ‘em. ;’)
