I’ve often siad that some poeple subconsiously choose their nicknames..
Quix is the root for quixote....as in Don Quixote..
Maybe you are familiar with the story:
Alonso Quixano, a retired country gentleman in his fifties, lives in an unnamed section of La Mancha with his niece and a housekeeper. He has become obsessed with books of chivalry, and believes their every word to be true, despite the fact that many of the events in them are clearly impossible. Quixano eventually appears to other people to have lost his mind from little sleep and food and because of so much reading.
So once again..your nickname proves to be entirely appropriate...
As you sir...are tilting at windmills...on a quest for something that cannot be found...
Actually, it comes from my Chinese students . . .
and one of the dictionary meanings . . .
“overly chivalrous”
Which they persistently insisted was a chronically displayed trait of mine.
They were so sweet about it, I couldn’t have picked a better, more touching screen name.
Am humbled and honored by it and their meaning . . . and will be the rest of my life.

Sure. I’m a passionate person . . . particularly about Freedom, our Republic and Jesus, Father, Spirit And God’s Kingdom.
And . . . I’m passionate Somewhat about END TIMES PROPHECY etc.
BTW, I think I studied Don Quixote around 1961 or 1962. When was your first exposure?

Am back from dinner and some Chinese chess with a housemate.
It was such a gargantuan struggle . . . what with my purportedly compromised reality testing and the complications coming from tilting with netherworld windmills . . . but somehow, I managed to win 3 games against a genius. Obviously it was a miracle of a major degree.
