Calling all CT FReepers! (I was going to post this to the local board, but I don't know how many CT FReepers actually read the thing...)
It's taken a while for me to be able to post this, so here goes - we're going to have another dinner/conference similar to the one we had in early 2007.
Location: John Harvard's, Manchester, CT
Date: Wednesday March 25, or Thursday, March 26 (I thought Friday might be better, but it can be mobbed in there on Fridays, and, IIRC, they don't do formal reservations.) Please let me know which day is best for all of you.
Time: 7:00/7:30?
Please let me know if you're coming and if you're bringing a guest(s) so I can get a head count.
Also, should we send out an invite to any local radio people, i.e. Jim Vicevich, Brad Davis, etc and maybe have them come speak? Maybe invite a few of our local Republican representatives?
Let's discuss this and get these details ironed out.

Great idea! Inviting conservative CT media personalities sounds good! Not sure if they need to prepare a speech but they are more than welcome to say something. Inviting local GOP representatives... are they true conservatives or RINOs interested in little more than power and party? What would be the agenda, any # limits on attendees?

Hi Andonius_99... I have a CT ping list, but I can't "run" it on a regular basis anymore.

Unfortunately we won't be able to make either of those dates in March, but I can't give you a date when we could attend the dinner, so go ahead and plan without us. We might be able to make a gathering around mid-April, but don't wait for us... :o)

What about a Saturday afternoon?
Many people can’t break away during the weekdays - we ran into that problem during the Hartford Tea Party last Friday
Great idea...but I think a weekend day - like Saturday afternoon would be better. Would be great to get more people synced up with efforts around the state.
Would it be possible to have a gathering on or shortly before April 15th if we are going to have a tea party rally on or near that date?
OK, I’ve got two votes for a Saturday afternoon - March 28, perhaps? Is that easier on everyone? I think that’ll work for for John Harvard’s, too, as long as we make it an early dinner, say, 3:30/4:00 or so. Let me know if this works for everyone.
