Google "Bamster"
<self> | 5 March 2008 | <self>

A couple weeks back, I expressed on this forum my curiousity about how jkffjkff is enjoying the man for whom he cast his unquestionably genuine ballot for president. The point was to highlight how little of such obviously fraudulent ACORN activity is

Scroole.org is a screen scraper for Google; I highly recommend it. It will return the first page of results.

Scroogle (or Google if privacy is no concern to you) "bamster". What might you expect to see?

Am I living in a parallel universe or am I not alone in seeing the obvious discepency between this obviously Obamaesque nickname and the small number of hits referencing him?

Just a thought.

Google's credibility... (I regret that "Information" is not a topic).

Second sentence should read:

The point was to highlight how little of such obviously fraudulent ACORN activity is publicized.

My apologies.

Scroogle.org is fab.

Of the 20 results, only four were in reference to the Bamster. The rest were innane subjects - pig hunting in Australia, View Bamster's Profile, etc.

obviously Obamaesque nickname

You could come up with any number of Obama sounding "nicknames" but it doesn't mean everybody else has as well.

But this is Rush’s nickname for him.

Rush has a lot of listeners, but guess what, not all of them are posting on the net about it.
Secondly, most good nicknames have the same vowel sound.

You are aware, I trust, that the controlling interests at Google (motto: “Do no harm”) are enthusiastic Obama supporters.

Yes and I’m sure they’ve rigged Google so “Bamster” doesn’t show up hardly at all, in an effort to thwart Rush no doubt. Never mind that scores of other Obama nicknames, both insulting and not, are there for the world to see.

They performed some censorship during the election cycle - surely you are aware of this? Or perhaps Google, in your mind, ia as pure as the wind-driven snow...?

I for one would like to know how to find the jkffjkff details. It was humorous. I heard on Hannity's program and can find no evidence of it off the Google search engine. Searching verbal information, requiring as it does extremely complex Fourier transform matching algorithms that are not in widespread use (probably because they are not sufficiently developed to be reliable) Either conservatives simply don't spend much time, is not an option. But I know what I heard, in October, with my own ears. Perhaps there are very few conservative bloggers entering text gather-able by web crawlers, or perhaps, as I think given the circumstantial evidence, there is indeed some suppression going on - doubtless under the rubric of "hate sites." I'll write Hannity; I really don't want to see the jkffjkff (or whatever the name was) thing just fall off the end of the bit bucket, given that ACORN is getting $2BN in "stimulus" money. I'm surprised so few FReepers seem concerned about this.

I guess I really want to keep fresh in the public mind a specific incident of ACORN fraud. "Jkffjkff" is a much more concentrated icon for the fraud than the generalized "Democrats commit fraud through ACORN". I hope to keep this alive for the next four years, so when Obama wins re-election (aka the equivalent of a promotion) despite poor job performance, it will be kept clear in the public mind that statistical probability is high he did not do so through real, legitimate votes.

Hope that clarifies my position.
