I never said they should not do a full security check on this person, or any person getting this high into a position of authority. All I said is that he should be able to get the position, if qualified. In the future let's please not add things to my postings that I didn't say or imply.

"Full security checks" are different if you're from another country, which I advised you of since you didn't seem to be aware of it. Based on your comments you've indicated you don't think that is fair - that national origin should not ever play a role in determining one's qualification. If that is not your position you should clear it up, you're welcome to have a dissenting opinion but that is the law, as national origin is a legitimate concern when determining someone's fitness for a high level government position. And it's not racist in doing so, in my opinion, it's smart, and there for a reason.
