We are the same except we have always known we could never sell a pup. Half of our JRT’s have been rescues and you are right they are not all the same by a long shot. They have very different personalities. Only one of our 12 has been a biter. Of the 3 we have now their personalities are all totally different. Only one is the way JRT’s are thought to be, energetic and full of fun. Of the other 2 one is sweet and laid back and one is an alpha female who controls the others. Great dogs we will always have this breed.

The alpha female of my crew is ‘Abbey’ who is the mother of the entire’crew’- ‘Murphy’ the father was killed October 07
by a raccoon. She is the most gentle dog you've ever seen in a house she is probably my wife's best friend.
With that being said, my neighbors and their pets are completely terrified of her ... with good reason.
She could be sitting on my back deck and if a deer enters the back yard or comes near my garden, she hunches down and let's out a kind of a low growl / groan (hard to describe)
and the deer stops and stares at the deck with eyes as big as truck headlights.
