Isn't this ordinarily known as "theft?"
Page Six reports that divalicious Jennifer Lopez recently neglected to return $50,000 worth of Robert Mouwad diamonds after wearing them to a fashion launch in Beverly Hills last week. Here's a pic of here from that event. Note the earrings, bracelet and ring.
Lopez, along with her friend Leah Remini, Gwen Stefani and Grey's Anatomy's Ellen Pompeo all wore items by the jewelry designer to the launch of designer Andrea Lieberman's new clothing line ALC.
The only difference is that the other three ladies gave back their expensive accessories to Mouwad. Lopez apparently decided that wearing the jewelry in public was payment enough for them and kept them.

Did the Ferrari’s owner just hand her the keys and say, “go for a drive?” Or did the owner say, “go for a drive but be back in 30 minutes?”
Shouldn’t Mouwad be HONORED that J-Lo wanted to steal his jewelry?!
Hope the guy got a signed agreement to return the jewelry. In any event, a reasonable person could not possibly assume they were gifts.
She is not a republican, ceo or business owner, there for this is under the new Socialist Administraion and the MSM just a misunderstanding....
She has way too much junk in her trunk already.
wow. I just walked out of Wal-Mart with $500 in groceries and they forgot to tell me not to. cool.
nope. stealing is stealing. whether there is a sign or not. its theft even if nobody is looking.
Sounds like she’s being a big ass.
If the jewelry was part of the arrangement, why did her manager call and say she was keeping the jewelry? She certainly thinks well of herself. Contrary to public opinion, she ain’t all that. Strip off the make-up and expensive jewelry and you have an average looking woman who steals jewelry.
You say it as if it’s a bad thing.
No ... she has just the right amount of junk in her trunk ... the problem seems to be the junk in her brain.
Not every agreemet is signed on parchment in blood and notarized. Many acceptable agreements are formed by a wink or a nod, or are based on a tacit understanding.
Your corner pub's bartender pours you another beer and takes the money out of the bills you have left on the bar, without anyone saying anything. That's a contract formed and performed. Nobody needed to say anything. Course of dealing or course of conduct is enough to form a binding agreement.
I’m not up on my criminal law, but I think you’d have to prove that she intended to keep the jewelry, or, after she was informed to return it she did not.
What would Obama do with Lopez as a concubine?
I am sure they asked for it back. otherwise would be too dumb for words.
This thread will die a quick death without pics of Lopez, Leah Remini, and Grey’s Anatomy’s Ellen Pompeo.
You know better.
Since, she’s decided it is income, tax her.
Form-1099, independant contractor.
Suddenly, it is returned.
Why didn’t she just offer “taco-flavored kisses” as a method of repayment? (kudos to South Park)
Well, it should be up to the jewelry people to press charges. Plain and simple. If they don’t...then it is THEIR loss. I could care less.
