Not as impressive as I hoped, someone just linked Digg RSS feeds to a simple rotating Flash scroller.

Maybe, but over half the world cannot use today’s browsers.

You ever see the cube browser? Five working pages looking at the inside of a cube? Really cool and worked but never went anywhere. Last code upgrade was around 2002 and it just died.

Can't or simply don't have access to or haven't been taught? This is an interesting concept, but not new. Not saying this is bad either, just have seen a lot of things like this in samples on flashkit.com. What could be an interesting next step on this is to have this menu as a sidebar to a window that actually displayed the original source instead of just the Digg description from the RSS feed. I think also this person did this in ActionScript 1.0. Not sure why, but I am getting a lot of errors when I run Flash debugger on it.

Check out this designer’s other sites.

Based on what he’s done before, I think this is a very, very early concept. He is pretty talented.. maybe we should bookmark and check back every month or so and see how he improves.

The web is turning into one giant gimmick. Pity the fools whose brains are being trivialized bit by downloaded bit...
HAL: "Dave, stop. Stop, will you? Stop, Dave. Will you stop, Dave? Stop, Dave. I'm afraid. I'm afraid, Dave. Dave, my mind is going. I can feel it. I can feel it. My mind is going. There is no question about it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I'm a... fraid."
