I’m real curious how this flick stacks up against other (and there are very few) NC-17 movies.

Without being able to cite specific instances, it seems when the PG-13 rating came out, there was a certain “line” and now that line is getting stretched closer to the “R” rating, while the “R” rating is getting stretched closer to the “NC-17” rating. JMHO, not going to the wall for it.

PG-13 was supposed to take over the “high PG” zone. But it’s always felt to me like it instead became the “low R”.
