Great dogs, my favorites.
Picky eaters, they basically want your food.
Good with kids and cats.
Like toys, playing.
Not good retrievers.
Great jumpers.
Couch hogs.
Good guard dogs, will approach/run bark put up a good show, hit the door windows but won’t bite.
Not long lived.
Ear cleanings needed.
Low maintenance, other wise.

"won’t bite." Tell that to my husband who wass bitten by our neighbor's boxer. He knew the dog and had talked to, petted it every evening then one night it chargesd out at him and sunk its teeth into his arm/hand. Required stitches and tetanus shot. Neighbor surprised too, but he paid the bill. We are not boxer fans, we have cockers. My brother has a new boxer puppy, my daughter has a golden. I prefer cockers.
