I see your point. You must mean just like Roosevelt's numbers sank into an abyss while his policies wrecked havoc on an already weak and failing economy.
Except for that little thing called history. You see, Roosevelt enjoyed ENORMOUS popularity even though the Depression was at it's deepest with unemployment approaching 30% in some states. Roosevelt was re-elected in 1936 IN A ABSOLUTE LANDSLIDE.
But hey, why worry about these pesky little opinion polls - they're probably all just DNC propoganda anyways.
“Except for that little thing called history. You see, Roosevelt enjoyed ENORMOUS popularity even though the Depression was at it’s deepest with unemployment approaching 30% in some states.”
There is a big difference between the 1930’s and the 2000,s. The Democrats were far more conservative than today’s communists. Also the American people had a moral, religious fiber and toughness which our people today pathetically lack. Our people of today could not have fought WWII and prevailed over the Tipartite Axis by more than a country mile. Our society today is mostly comprised of shallow, selfish, amoral whiners. Sad but also true.
Obama is in charge during this decline, no matter how much he and the media claim it was inherited. The Dem's were in charge since 2006. Keep repeating this.
I can hardly wait till Obamavilles start springing up all over the place during this depression.
