As a member of NRA, does anybody think it would be worth it to join the GOA? Should I join both or drop NRA for GOA, or sit tight in the NRA? Money is tight right now, but I got upset during the Clinton years with the NRA sort of going mushy under duress. I just want to do the most good.

GOA has never had any influence, and never will. Their main goal is raising funds from disgruntled NRA members. Stick with the NRA. They aren’t anywhere near perfect, but they’re the only gun-rights group with any real clout.
