It is not humid here in San Antonio - hot though - yes, plenty of that! Now Houston - that there’s humid!!!! It just never seems to rain here. La Nina is killing us. Drought is unreal. As to politics, generally Bexar County goes GOP, but this last time actually went Obama.

I was judging it on my trips through the area. We too, in Haskell Co. are having a drought. Dry conditions are normal for us here, but this year is really dry. I can take the heat, but not the humidity. Have lived in the West all my life.

Hottest time I remember is 2 weeks I spent in Barstow CA. 2 weeks spent around July 4th, wheeee! 116 degrees f. in the shade.
