Motorola phones (and a couple of other brands) have a little sticker behind the battery that turns red if it gets wet. Frankly, even the slightest moisture can hurt a phone (like most electronics).. the transmitters are especially sensitive in newer digital phones.
And my sticker on my V300 showed no indication of water damage. If they are going to use that as a metric and declare that there will be no charge then they should stick to their word. Otherwise I might have made a different decision such as apply the money to a new phone or find another company.
Not mine. :). You can drop it in the pool and it'll ring under water. Casio Gz'one. Works great.
