This morning, just as the sun was peeking over the mountain, I opened the window slats at my kitchen window.

There, not four feet from the house, were 14 javelina, eating spilled seed under the bird feeders!

I know the picture is not too clear - but it had to be taken through screen - because of the glare on the window.

At least this will give you an idea what kind of critters we have to deal with, up here in the high desert.

I've been taking my time, going through the thread today. Didn't I tol' ya'll the opening music was fantastic! I had never heard of the artist until Lori used it for today's opening with those two gorgeous horses!

This has been a week filled with such neat music, and it's nice to have an "eclectic" day today! Thank you all!
