The Seattle Post-Intelligencer is Seattle's most liberal paper. The NY Times of the Northwest. With its death, that leaves only the Seattle TIMES which is only slightly less liberal than the P-I. And the Times is facing its own financial troubles, having to cut the size of its paper and seeing falling readership.

Better watch out. You might get flamed from the "how dare you hope people lose their jobs" crowd. :)

"I'm here for an unemployment benefits meeting, something I can't imagine I'd ever be doing," said Raley.

And therein lies the problem, dude.

Summer is on the way. They should be able to queue up in the Home Depot parking lot. Not to worry.

And what will take it’s place?

To quote Aristotle: “Nature abhors a vacuum”

The P-I was a leftist rag as far back as the late 1970s when I was just a lad.

I can just see all the libs and lefties ringing their hands, drinking their Starbucks, saying “somebody’s gotta do something!”

Of course, like all lefties, they will do nothing but whine about it.

Which, of course, makes me happy.

Does Seattle have a conservative or even middle of the road newspaper ?

Not when less that 20% of the people living in Seattle are not conservative or even middle of the road. No if you want to read a conservative paper printed in Washington state you will have to subscribe to small town rural papers like the Morton Logger, the Mossyrock Gazette, the Skamania Sasquatch.

Replacing a vacuum with a vacuum sounds like a steady state, though.

Do you live in Mossyrock? I use to fish up there. Loved that place. I think I'll park my camper there permanently once the great spending depression really gets going.

This is so awesome to see liberals hurting.

I know it is not good to be happy over someone else’s trouble, but ha ha ha.

You liberals are getting the change you voted for. I hope all the liberals starve.

That's funny. There actually is a tiny town in Wa state called Mossyrock. There's a dam and a big reservoir there. Brought back memories of good times. Oh well, have a good one.
