I appreciate Mr Eastwood’s comments but it is a joke for him to rail against PC when his own movies portray that very thing.
Gran Torino for example depicts him as a white “bigot” who only gets his redemption by getting absolution from the Hmong. Give me a break. We have become a pathetic and weak peoples.
As I saw it...
His redemption was not from bigotry
but from killing a surrendering soldier.
He did not get redemption from the Hmong
but from the sacrifice of his life to save others.
