Its sad though on FR there are posters who wish to stifle free exchange of thought and ideas.

No one is stifling anything, FR is offering a lot of different options for what type of conversation you want to take part in. Some are knock down, drag out fights, others are more reverent like you are in church. If you want to discuss an issue in a 'caucus' thread in which you are not part of the caucus, that person can just start an open thread on the subject.

True, but I don’t want to start a thread everytime an LDS article gets posted in the Caucus format.

I’d rather just block it as a personal preference and not see it.
