Went the show in 1975-76..first time I saw the A10, F16, F14.. looked thru a hanger window to spy two B-1’s sitting in there.
BTW one of the f-14’s had Chuck Yeager's name on the side..
If anyone goes, pay attention to the mountain peaks and hills as you enter....there are small white crosses where test pilots crashed in the old days

Yeah....I got to see one of the Space Shuttles up close. That was awesome....I think it was the Columbia...now that I think about it. Which of course was lost on re-entry quite a few years later.
Saw a SR-71 up close...and of course some Hogs, and F-16s too.
Was a lot of fun, fer sure.

Try a formation flyover of a B-1, a B-52, and a B-2 (I saw it some time in the mid-90s)
Something that “Wings Over Houston” doesn’t have a prayer of achieving.
