I'm probably out of date with my thinking but I always thought the best picture should at least be a marginally succesful film. I think the Oscars are just a play thing for the left to get in political hits.
Silly me! Until last night, I thought they were singing “Tally Ho”. LOL
I saw “Slumdog” and thought it deserved to win.
