As a chronic Lyme patient I can assure folks that what Scythian experiences is real and the list of suffers is growing. In our rural area we have more people each year with symptoms of Lyme and treatment is hard to find. And when you do it involves several hours of travel each way which alone is debilitating for days. On top of that are very restrictive CDC criteria detailing laboratory diagnosis and treatment when the diagnosis is clinical because of lab testing quality and timing issues.
The official treatment guidelines only work if disease is diagnosed early and that is rare and often rash related. The rash which can take different forms does not always present itself. I wonder why President Bush’s treatment for Lyme is not public - probably because it exceeds the CDC criteria. BTW, I’m not a physician just a long term patient who decided long ago to know thy enemy. And my three treatment regimens with colloidal silver were not successful.

That sound good for anyone.
That made me think of natural hot springs too.

(I know those are not available just anywhere)

I have a neighbor who works as an oceanic scientist who studies microscopic living things.

Never ending job of turning over new discoveries.

So I can truly see a micro scopic living fiberous thing invading the human body.

I like conservative Canadains. Their prime minister Steven Harper is a good conservative and he stood up to the leftist rats when they tried to steal his victory. They are do not elect illegal alien Muslims to their highest office.

“Any ties to Stalin-loving Pete Seeger, Dylan and Springsteen?”

You don’t know squat about Bob Dylan.

Ditto.

Her painting is o.k...but her voice/guitar/and songwriting ability is second to none in my book.

Still have all of her vinyl from my “miss-spent youth’..and have transitioned to CD....

One of my favorites of hers is “Cold Blue Steel and Sweet Fire” off her “For the Roses” LP....so well-recorded you can hear her fingers dragging across the guitar strings..haunting tune...gives me the chills..

Most folks know her from her more upbeat radio friendly “Court and Spark” pop-Jazz period..

She’s evolved and changed styles enough to have crammed a couple of careers in her life...

Picked a few ideas up on a googled site. . .am sure you have been 'all over the place' re this affliction. But in case not; maybe some help here. Also would check on the colloidal silver possibilities; there are a number of brands out there to check on . . .

(A horrific story. . .but ends well. . .)

from another site; some 'household help':

1 teaspoon of baking soda in water once a day, this will drive all the fibers out, body will begin to heal, some of them are quite painfull when they come out but, she will eventually be cured, also once you drink the water with baking soda she will instantly have her sense of well being back, and generally feel really good again. (baking soda a good 'tub soak' as well)

Very encouraging to hear. I'll tell her to give that a try since it cant hurt. Thanks and I really hope this works. Quoting: samson 532267

Re: The Next Global Epidemic is Now « Reply #1 on Apr 21, 2008, 6:30am » Wednesday, April 2, 2008 Morgellons Cure

Have a Bath with Sun powdered laundry detergent with Colorsafe Bleach PLUS Alfalfa tablets.

These seem to combine to produce something that is lethal to the machines. This cure for Morgellons disease was discovered by accident.

This testimonial is from the person who discovered this cure: (Daisy Baleen) Posted on Health and Healing @ Yahoogroups. com

****I have been Morgellons sufferer for over ten years. Recently, I discovered, quite by accident, something that is literally making it disappear from my BODY. I have experimented with various "super baths," filling the tub with hot water and putting in things like lemons, baking soda, dish detergent, laundry detergent, alcohol, etc. Well, one day about four months ago, I was filling the bath and I was pretty dirty from housecleaning so I put some Sun powdered laundry detergent with colorsafe bleach into the water, just a tad, because it really cleans the skin.

Anyway, I left the bathroom for a minute or two and heard a crash that sounded like one of my cats getting into something. When I returned nothing seemed amiss, so I slid into the water for a soak.

Everything seemed normal until the bubbles parted, and I got the sight of a morgellons sufferers lifetime dream: those black and grey specks MIGRATING OUT OF MY SKIN AS FAST AS THEY COULD IN DROVES BY THE HUNDREDS FROM EVERY SQUARE INCH OF MY BODY!!

And even as I saw that, I also noticed several large oblong things "dissolving" in the bottom of the tub. I picked one up, and it was an alfalfa tablet. Then I noticed the bottle on the counter next to the tub was overturned, and about 25 of them had fallen into the water! They were the cause of the migration of all things Morgellon out of my skin in a fantastic migration for about an hour!

Brown flecks, black specks, fibers, white patches of fibers drifted off the surface of my skin like No Problema, see ya later, something I had NEVER BEEN ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH WITH ANY OTHER TOPICAL AGENT.

THE MIGHTY ALFALFA HAS SINCE CONQUERED MORGELLONS IN MY BODY. The scabs are gone, the fibers are history, the patches of fibers are all taped to a piece of wax paper and about to be sent off to a research lab that has requested them.

I am sending you my testimonial in hopes that other sufferers will at least know some relief from the scourge of the skin.

I have done a little research on the mighty alfalfa, and apparently it creates an alkaline environment in the body in which things like CANCER and other diseases cannot survive. So, taking it internally can only be a good thing, also; but its the BATHS that made all the difference in the world for me.***

“In an interview several months later with Edna Gundersen in USA Today, Dylan was asked about the absence of any song about the current (Iraq) war on his own latest album, Modern Times. “Didn’t Neil Young do that?” he jokes . . . “What’s funny about the Neil record, when I heard ‘Let’s Impeach the President,’ I thought it was something old that had been lying around. I said, ‘That’s crazy, he’s doing a song about Clinton?’”

“And indeed, any scrutiny of the record would show that he has never endorsed a political candidate (although some political candidates have endorsed him). The closest he has ever come would be the statement in his memoir, Chronicles, that his “favorite politician” circa 1961 was Barry Goldwater.”

“Consider also: Dylan never spoke out against the Vietnam war in the 1960s. Not once. It was not for want of being asked. At a 1965 press conference in San Francisco he was asked if he would be participating in an anti-war protest later that day. He replied, “No, I’ll be busy tonight.” The tape shows that he was all but laughing while he said it.”

“Despite the heat he took, he backed down not one bit. In an interview in Sing Out! magazine in 1968, Dylan was pressed on how any artist could be silent in the face of the war. Dylan talked about a painter friend of his who was in favor of the war, and said that he “could comprehend him.” Pressed further on how he could possibly share any values with such a person, Dylan responded: “I’ve known him a long time, he’s a gentleman and I admire him . . . Anyway, how do you know that I’m not, as you say, for the war?
The topic was dropped there.”

My family can vouch for the efficacy of grapefruit seed extract on many infectious types of things, ranging from yeast infections to ear infections to gingivitis to food poisoning. It even eliminated our beloved 15 year old dachshund’s staggering doggie-breath and helped keep his pancreatitis under control— a few drops on his kibble in the early stages of an attack, and his pancreatitis would be stopped cold, eliminating the need for a course of antibiotics (which always made him miserable).

It seems worth trying for Morgellon’s, too. See http://morgellonsgroup.proboards23.com/index.cgi?board=remedies&action=display&thread=1538

Some folks pooh-pooh it as quackery, but it’s one of those no-harm things, and reasonably cheap. If it’s all placebo-effect, my elderly dachshund would beg to differ. If I were you, I’d get some right away. The stuff we’ve used is made by Nutribiotics and is widely available at health-food stores and online.

I’d try this before colloidal silver, due to that inconvenient permanent-blue-skin issue... If it’s working for you, you’ll know within a week and can try something else.

Do it now.

"In our rural area we have more people each year with symptoms of Lyme and treatment is hard to find."

Former Lyme victim here. Lyme isn't seen often in my area, which puzzled my doc when I presented with the bulls-eye rash, swollen joints and eye problems. I explained that I'd been bitten by a horsefly in Munich two weeks earlier, and that is epidemic there, and that the urban legend that it was spread only by ticks is false. I presented a fax from a doctor in Munich (a family friend, and a dermatologist) attesting to this fact. But my idiot doctor could only shake his head and say, "But we don't have Lyme in this area." HELLO: I-got-bit-in-Munich-two-weeks-ago! We went around that bush several times before I got it through his thick skull.

Came the blood test: positive! Again, he was mystified. "But we don't have Lyme in this area!" ...SIGH...

It took two courses of doxycycline (six weeks was not enough) to rid me of it. Doxycycline is a rather benign antibiotic, often used for zits and such. It's cheap and well-tolerated by most folks, and it's effective against the Lyme spirochete if taken consistently for a couple months. Talk to your doc about it; it's well worth a try IMHO. Our family friend doc in Munich routinely prescribes it to anyone with the bulls-eye rash; doesn't even bother with a blood test. It's that common over there.

“Whatever, I have it too,”

Doctors don’t care unless Big Pharma calls it a disease because they have a pill for it. Have you done anything that provides relief? I might have a suggestion, but I would like a response - we have done some things that have been beneficial in a few difficult cases of baterial or virus infection (not antibiotics).

My granny was killed by a “psychological” condition that resembled ALS (Lou Gehrig’s) that couldn’t be ALS, as she was too old for it when it started & it moved too slow. Loss of ability & feeling in her feet & hands were a “normal” part of the aging process, as was the loss of coherent speech & ability to swallow. She doctor shopped & the initial visit would go well. Then her medical files would arrive & she’d be told to accept the losses as part of aging.

Thank you, I have some GSE at home in fact, I have gone to all natural treatments and really believe in these. I have done lots of colloidal silver, it was very helpful but no cure. I will restart my GSE, I have never really done it long term. Right now I take “Oregano oil” and some other stuff as there is a strong fungal element to this also I beleive. Natural things are not quackery, believe me, I’ve met with the real quacks. Again, thank you so much. I have the Nutribiotics brand even.

I’m sorry your granny and your family had to go through that.

There is a show on Discovery Channel called, “Mystery Diagnosis”. The people are always told, “Oh don’t worry about it,” and then it turns out to be something severe.

I can understand the really uncommon stuff (like the guy that had an Ethiopian tape worm), but there are people who had fairly common illnesses who were told their symptoms were all in their head. Things like colon and ovarian cancer are progressing in their bodies and the doctors want to give them anti-depressants.

It’s sickening.

I sure can’t find anything about Dylan being a Stalinist, you are claiming that the radical leftist Radosh claims that in his book and I think that you are making things up.
