And if so, did the country music industry shower him with praise and affection for doing so under the guise of "artistic excellence".

You know. Kinda the way Hollywood did with Algore and his pathetic movie about Global Warming. I can't even remember the name of it.

I believe he's done some speaking on the "campaign trail", and I know that he's donated $$$ to Clinton's campaign. He said that we should have made a guy like Clinton "King".

I also read somewhere, that people connected with the DNC have approached him about running for public office. They thought that he would have a good chance in the "red states".
