and some of those PUNK ROCKERS were so RIGHT WING they make me look like a MODERATE and make TEXAS EAGLE look like a FLAMING LIBERAL
She looked great, and so did her Mother
Ummmmm. That worked out real well for Liza didn’t it?
Oh, good. Now we're getting somewhere.
as you Dont know what youre talking about..
You deny that Hollywood is filled with people who hate America, Americans, Christians, Conservatives? Be honest.
Shut up for a second..
No.
Some of the people in that theatre tonight.. ARE FRIENDS OF MINE and are just as Conservative as MOST IN THIS ROOM...
Some. But not most. Right? Be honest.
now.. your broad brush makes you just as disgusting as the Scumbag Liberals you are WHINING ABOUT.
If your friends can make movies that paint America, Americans, Christians, Conservatives, etc. as villains, why can't I do the same in a little old chat room? That doesn't sound very American.
Turn your computer and go read your BIBLE.. I don't have to. I can read it online. At least until your friends in Hollywood give Barack Obama enough money to outlaw it. Like it's trying to do with talk radio.
youve apparently missed something... or is this where you tell us Were going to HELL because we go to MOVIES?? EXCUSE ME SIR, I go to MOVIES ...and even WORSE ... I MAKE MOVIES. I am not LIBERAL, nor am I GAY, but Im trying to change things from the INSIDE..
Uh-huh. By attacking me.
I CANT DO IT with MEAN, UGLY individuals like you fighting what Im trying to do...
I think everyone here would agree that the only person being mean and ugly is you. If you'll notice, I haven't yelled at you once. That's because I don't need to. I can get my point across with grace, humor, and calm confidence that comes with knowing that I'm right.
Tell her she looked lovely there...dad (Lol).
I have to tell you, as someone who has been watching Bollywood movies for years, I never thought I’d see Bollywood singers performing at the Oscars this soon! After seeing Hindi musicals like Devdas, a lot of the modern Hollywood musicals seem very stale!
Hehe. Seriously though, Lorna Luft and her brother have said that Garland dished out spankings at the drop of a hat.
Yes, indeed! A lovely mom.
I loved Kagemusha, but I find Takada Shingen (the Samurai Lord who the story was about) one of the more interesting figures in mid 16th century Japan...so that may have made a difference. Ran is wonderful. I need to watch it again.
Seven Samurai is a must see.
No. Chuck Berry.
I really enjoyed that musical number.
They are surely gathering a lot of awards tonight.
It’s so interesting to see India not only catch up to but surpass the American movie industry.
This is a sign of things to come.
My husband walked through the room when Jennifer Aniston and Jack Black were up.
He couldn’t believe Jennifer Aniston looked like that.
He’d heard of her, of course, but definitely did not think she was pretty at all.
She’s not beautiful, but she’s cute and likeable.
Judy had a really rough life; Liza has her issues; but Lorna came out pretty normal. Garland was an incredible talent; that is why she is still an icon today.
OMG! Etta James in a Hoover commercial. LOL!
There's a certain amount of truth there but, c'mon, you really want to compare Country Music to Hollywood when it comes to promoting anti-American values?
That makes all country music bad and godless.
I can't think of one country song or country singer that promotes homsexuality as a normal, virtuous act that should be celebrated. Or one country song or singer that goes to great lengths to paint American soldiers as cold-blooded killers. And I can't think of once country singer that met with the leader of a country (Cuba, Venezuela, etc.)that openly advocates the destruction of America.
You joined us.
You wish.
I saw surprised too...hope Etta got a good payday:)
Lol...cute guy @ mike for Departees...he is bery, brrry happy:)
Isn’t Slumdog a Brit movie?
Bollywood is not overtaking Hollywood anytime soon. My local Indian cafe plays Bollywood all day long on plasma. It’s popular fare ... low tech and kinda tacky. Fun though.
I loved Judy Garland.
She was beautiful and incredibly talented as well.
