Maybe they just wanted to have two Mickeys there.
She saw the bow on the box and thought it was part of the dress.
Proofreading is your friend.
I wish Freepers would be more vocal about Hollywood. We need to stamp out liberalism, not wipe out movies and our incredible cinematic heritage. Too many people on this site are wigged out about Hollywood.
Hmmm... kind of what I thought. I do like Kate Winslet, though. We'll check it out at some point... thanks.
Wigging out about Hollywood is a good thing. They’re morons.
The problem is - simply wigging out is not a solution.
What’s needed is the entertainment equivalent of a Fox News Channel, to compete with the liberal bozos.
Branson Missouri would seem to be a good place for a movie studio, for starters...
Until then, I’ll enthusiasitcally wig out about Hollywood thanks. :)
Hollywood is run by, and occupied by, socialist morons.
Before Hollywood used her up she was quite talented and they were fun to watch
I figure the fix is in for Sean Penn who is an incredibly mediocre actor.
Lots and lots.
As someone earlier mentioned, there are only 4 awards going to actors and actresses. ALL of the others go to technical wizards, cinematography, wardrobe, animation, etc.
The Oscars telecast won’t be winning any awards for lighting
You’re wrong.
O C’mon. I liked him in Fast Times at Ridgemont High
Well there is director, best movie, and song and score, and special award to Jerry Lewis. Did I miss anything?
Garland was an amazing talent and a genuine American tragedy.
No, I mean, I’m not watching the show, it’s out of reach.
In other years they would have announced supporting actors near the top of the show, or maybe best foreign film or best animated...etc.
I haven’t seen anything on this thread. Have there been any announcements during the awards show?
It’s been two hours and I haven’t seen one posting of an award given out tonight. Am I missing something?
There was cinematography, animation, best supporting actresseds or something or other.
The Oscars site may have it.
Hollywood is utterly out to lunch.
Let’s just disagree. :)
Penelope Cruz won the first award.
