Lindsey Vonn set an American record with her 19th women's World Cup victory Sunday in a super-G.
Vonn is the reigning overall champion. She became the first American woman since McKinney in 1983 to win the overall title. McKinney's wins in the 1980s were all in slalom and giant slalom. No American woman has ever won back-to-back overall titles.
Vonn has won 11 downhills, four super-G's, two super-combis and two slaloms. This was her sixth win of the season.
