Imagine, a return of Battlestar Galactica, that followed this line.

Rather than GINO, or Battlestar 90210

THAT is the trailer that I've been talking about!
That's the one that Richard Hatch brought to I-Con many many years ago, before the new show started production.

It was shortly after Jon Colicos died. Those were the last images of him ever filmed, and there are a few more minutes against a blue screen.

That trailer needs to be seen on a big screen, and not just someone's ripped version of it!

For the record I like both versions of BSG. With exception of Galactica 1980.. That to me is Galactica in name only..

Even if the old-school centurions are brought back, chances are they’ll still be CGI,as was the case in “Razor”.

Had they gone with DeSanto, or Hatch’s “BSGSC” versions, it would have been both Live Action and CG. CG mostly to make the numbers seem larger.

DeSanto’s version was just weeks away from start of principle photography when 9/11 happened, which put production on hold.

During which time, Bonnie Hammer, (Head of SciFi, and former head of Lifetime) used the opportunity to scuttle the production all together, in favor of her preferred version, Ron Moore’s Battlestar 90210.
