Amen to that Vet.
As much as I despise the things that Kennedy stands for, the things he has done and said, the perfidy that is his legacy (all but betraying the U.S. to the Soviets during the latter stages of the Cold War by cozying up to Andropov in private initiatives to Moscow), regardless of all that, I can't hate the man.
Now Jimmy STP Carter?
That's another matter.
