My tramp stamp is a patriotic tattoo. I got it a few months after 9/11, when the flags that people had been flying started coming down. I didn’t think patriotism should be a temporary thing, so I got something permanent.
I chose a lower back tattoo because I wanted something that could be covered up if it had to be, but not always invisible.
