Cool, here is a more desktop worthy version (bigger):

Thanks!
The specs aren’t right on some of those photo’s. The U-2 photo is of a later R version. The written specs look to be from an earlier model. The R had just over a 100’ span IIRC.
The written length/span specs for the 117 HAVE to be a typo.
Coming Soon!! notice the engine placement, features and aerodynamic design features. Kinda suggestive of the Kansas UFO I posted in #58

Don’t be absurd. Heavier than air flight is impossible.
I don’t know how to get jpegs from my computer to FR. If someone knows, I have a couple of excellent pics of the F117 painted with the flag you may be interested in.

I used to live in Palmdale. Another odd mixture of aero-industry and movies. We had a colony of “short people” where it was a brief drive to the movie sets, and for more mundane occupations, they worked slathering the inside of wings with goop to prevent fuel leaks.
Pirates of the Carribean 3, second unit was partially filmed at plant 42, in the buildings where the Space Shuttle and the B-1B bombers were produced.
My dad had me memorize the base 10 log tables. Helps me calculate interest rates at the car dealership, and is good for parties, where I calculate the 17th root of number in my head, to a digit or so. Also useful in calculating odds in poker.
F-16XL was an interesting idea, they demonstrated an aircraft turn with fuel and a full load of bombs in 30 minutes. Was, to my knowledge, the first aircraft with automatic hydraulic sway bracing.
Those were happy days.
I just uploaded a couple of F117 pics for you.
