For the ones who would, remember there are at least 15 million scoped hunting rifles in the US. (just hunting rifles) Two in my home .. along with several pistols and enough ammo to keep it interesting for a while.

scopes are nice for range, but if SHTF i’m more likely to grab one with iron sights first. you get quicker follow-up shots and quicker target aquisition not using a scope.
