We’re big fans of Allison Krauss, and have nothing against Robert Plant, so it was quite a disappointment. I didn’t like the recent CD by Emmylou Harris and Mark Knopfler, either, even though I like both performers (especially her). Just not songs I could enjoy listening to.
We like Allison Krauss too, the collaboration with Robert Plant just doesn’t do it for us. She did “Whiskey Lullaby” with Brad Paisley which is a good one. She can get a bit “pixie sounding” sometimes though but she’s got a beautiful voice and I like most of what she’s done.
