I have had and still own several Nagant revolvers. I have test fired them with original Russian and Fiocci ammunition.

They are an OK revolver, fascinating because of the “gas seal” mechanism, but as a practical arm, I would rather take an American 9 shot .22 revolver of the same barrel length any day of the week.

Underpowered, difficult to shoot double action, and slow to reload does not make a very practical revolver (unless it is mainly used to shoot helpless policial prisoners).
