Don’t know what his problem is with the Garand, and, as a manly man, I don’t care. I like the inclusion of the Martini Henry Rifle - from the Zulu, NOT ZULU, wars!

And if I were to make up a list, I would have included the Brown Bess, the Pennsylvania Long Rifle, the Hawken Rifle and the Colt Walker Dragoon as far more manly than the suppository cuns he lists.

Zulu was a hell of a flim, you notice they also had the Webly, .455 revolver in that movie also, kind of a wimpy load but many of them were converted to .45 ACP with half moon clips and sold in America back in the 40s and 50s. I had one when I was about 22, wish I still had it. They were ugly but they shot well and were very strong guns.
