I don’t think that Obama was born overseas—it just seems too illogical to assume his parents would have thought to concoct that kind of story back then. And there is the supposedly contemporaneous announcement from the Honolulu paper of his birth.

But I do think there is something strange that the Obama camp isn’t talking about. I find it odd that he won’t just reveal an original copy of his birth certificate. I used to think it was because it revealed that his parents were never married, but then their divorce papers surfaced and Obama is quite open about the fact that his mother was pregnant at the time of her marriage and everyone knows Obama Sr. was already married in Africa.

Now I’m thinking perhaps the birth certificate notes a place for the child’s religion, and it reads Muslim. Not that it makes him a Muslim now, but it’s pretty clear that his stepfather adopted him and considered him a Muslim and made him an Indonesian citizen. I think all that together was just too much to foist on the American public before the election.

First off the announcement in the newspapers of Jr’s birth listed the address of 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy while the Dunhams address was 2277 Kamehameha Ave., and Obama Sr lived in a “small, single story home at 625 11th Ave.” The home at the address listed in the birth announcement was owned by Orland and Thelma Lefforge.
Second, there is no religion listed on Hawaiian birth certificates of that time.

I’m agnostic about where he was born, but boy do I have suspicions! Even, as you say, even if it’s not his birthplace, there’s something special being hidden. Your idea, though, about the BC having Muslim - while it might be right, they do have that Indonesian school paperwork already which says Muslim and Indonesian citizenship. Unless maybe by it’s being on a BC it might carry more weight. I don’t think my BC says what our religion was - although back then, you usually gave birth in a religious hospital, which kind of gives it away!

Hawaiian Birth Certificates of the period had no such information, or a place for it, on them.

This is 1963 version, while Obama's should be from '61.

Forget the birth announcement, there is no hospital records of him being born in Hawaii.

Is is so disconcerting that everything about this man is sealed. Did he not even have friends? Has anyone come forward to say that they knew him way back when? He just creeps me out. He reminds me of Damien from the Omen.

I have also thought alot about what might be on the original BC that is so sensitive. There really is very little that most anyone would be concerned about. The names, age, race, and residence of the parents are on this document. The place, time, and day of birth is given as well. The signatures of both parents and attending physician are all that is left.

None of this information really matter to most anyone. So the only valid reason to supress this info would seem to be if any of this data is missing. In other words, if there may be reason to believe the information is false or invalid.

I suspect the information on the original vault copy may have inconsistencies that contrast to things that Obama has already legally proclaimed.

The TV show "Inside Edition" filmed this document and broadcast it on one of their shows. This registration document, made available on Jan. 24, 2007, by the Fransiskus Assisi school in Jakarta, Indonesia, shows the registration of Barack Obama under the name Barry Soetoro into the Catholic school made by his step-father, Lolo Soetoro. The document lists Barry Soetoro as a Indonesian citizen, born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, and shows his Muslim step-father listed the boy's religion as Islam. This lying crypto-marxist demagogue is definitely hiding something.
