Easily one of the greatest drummers ever to live and grace our ears. Top 15 for sure in all genres I would put him up against.

Dig Bellson, age 19, drumming behind Benny Goodman and Carmen Miranda singing "Paducah" in The Gang's All Here, directed by Busby Berkeley (1943). Bellson gets such good exposure in this clip that you don't even need to check the "LB" on the drums to make sure it's him.
