Ever notice how many of these “victims” that show up at ‘RAT extravaganzas turn out to be freeloaders?

I think there’s more to this story than we are hearing-
“disability check Hughes gets is a little more than $800 a month”
I’d be interested in know what her disability is, how did she get it and if it would prevent her from getting a job. Also-the $400 “gap” what about her son, does he work? if no, why not?

I saw this woman and Chene Thompson interviewed on Fox the other morning. This woman and her son left New York, drove to Florida, and then was outraged to find out they couldn’t get a free apartment the same day they rolled into town.

Thursday morning, Chene Thompson handed Henrietta Hughes the keys to her home in Hendry County. Thompson is the wife of State Representative Nick Thompson (R-District 73). Hughes and her son will live at the home rent free.Hughes says Tanya Johnson wanted $400 a month immediately.
The disability check Hughes gets is a little more than $800 a month.
"Where was I going to get $400 a month to give her if I got these expenses," Hughes told WINK News.
Maybe by not allowing your son to freeload off of you, or US, rather??

This whole episode may prove to be a blessing in disguise, since from here on out, it won’t be possible for Obama to engage in one of these Oprafied “town hall” events without some dingelheimer asking him directly for something he won’t be able to deliver.

The disability check Hughes gets is a little more than $800 a month. Hughes owes money on a loan, has her car insurance payment, a monthly storage bill and says she couldn't afford the rent. "Where was I going to get $400 a month to give her if I got these expenses," Hughes told WINK News. This is a perfect illustration of the common fact that many "poor" people are there due purely to their own stupidity. This wretched excuse for a human being is no victim, she's a parasite. Like the skank who turned down MRE's after Katrina becasue she was too good to eat what our soldiers eat, this slagheap is one of the exotic mutants grown in the hothouse of the welfare state.
I hope her idiot benefactor is suitably disappointed by the ingrate's attitude.

The Thompson's say they are sad Henrietta has to defend herself against these allegations and they will continue to help herThese a-holes are "Henrietta's" lawful prey. At least it is their own money and not tax dollars going down the sh*tter.

Bullshit publicity stunt to make “THE ONE” look good. Notice they did not give her the house they let her stay in it rent free. After this story calms down they will rent her a nice motel room for a couple months and cut her loose. The press won’t report it and every one will sing “THE ONES” praises.

Did the porkulus bill change the welfare eligibility regulations? I’d hate to see these folks rail roaded into working for a living.

I apologize if this is a dumb question, but where are her disability check and storage bill being mailed to if she has been homeless since 2003?
