Smoking can cause cancer anywhere in the body by altering the body’s chemistry and response to fighter cells, suppressing their activity. Once the cancer starts in one part of the body it can be transferred through any other part of the body via bloodstream.

If a person wants to smoke they should do it where they are not exposing others to cancer risks. If they are decent, caring human beings they will want to do that anyway. If they only care about themselves and say “be damned” to the rest of the world, I’m gonna do what I want, then they aren’t decent human beings, but selfish and inconsiderate.

Smoke from any source is harmful; limiting our focus to cigarettes is more a matter of social and interpersonal relationships with the system that sets its sights on ordering things.

Cancer needs no trigger from the outside, they merely help.

Bossiness is the absence of accepted authority is merely rudeness.

That’s true. I used to smoke (quit for good 20 years ago). But a year ago I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. I’ve had several surgeries, chemo, immunotherapy, etc. My doctor told me that the two main causes of bladder cancer are cigarette smoking and working with some industrial solvents (certain dyes, for example, which is why people working with leather are at risk). I am going to beat this son of a bitch.
