I'm not-so-jokingly leaning toward the notion that the US Military should step in and take control of all branches of the Federal Government while turning over the aspects of everyday control to the States. It can then "de-Baathify" and set the ground rules once again for a Constitutional structure. Federal electons can be organized and held under military supervision until such time as it can step back and be assured we're up and running.
Any faith I ever had that this Federal government can be put back in its cage via the good graces of politicians has vanished.
Call it Operation American Freedom
There’s very positive thread here called: Freepers, UP!

Deep stuff, even if it is from the Hobbit guy. My point is, don't assume everything of value is going to be lost irretrevably.
This is where I get peeved. "We have families..."
"We" sound like the Russians in the Soviet Union who had families, and the state used them as hostages. Step too far out of line and your family will suffer. Very effective.
But civil disobedience is a lot easier than lawsuits, Navy Vet. It can be done by an amateur without years of legal education. It can be done in leisure hours, or when you're beered up, or when the impulse kicks in. It takes less time, less energy, less money, less organization. It's guerrilla warfare, war on the cheap.
Your everyday working stiff might not want to barge into Congressional chambers, but there are plenty of working stiffs with inner rowdies, needing only a little more stimulus and maybe a ride and some bail insurance. And the rest of the working stiffs, they can still use the mail and the spray can and dozens of other annoying items.
Havoc is easy. Organization is hard. Court is effin' hard.
Besides, people who play by the rules, tend to lose against people who don't. The Democrats are trying to destroy the Constitution and the culture; I for one don't want to engage in kabuki-esque stageplay with them.
One grandeo problemo. obambio, is the one who will appoint more subprime-ates to the Supreme Court.
