Whaddup Raster! Good to see you dude!

You are exactly right...even with RINOs, porkulus would never have seen the light of day if Republicans were in control.

“I’m Never Gonna Vote Republican AGAIN!!!! [Satire - Vanity]”

That’s alright because if they can they’re going to arrange things so a Republican vote isn’t counted anyway. (Satire? I’m not sure.)

What we need on this forum are more vanities by people who think they are the smartest person on the block, and therefore must slander every other Republican for not being as bright or as activist as they are.

Down with posts that actually present a plan.

This post sponsored by the RNC (the raving nuts coalition).

No...3 RINOs turned their backs on the rest of their party and voted with the rest of their buddy ‘Rats.....traitors to the last. But don't worry...we will purge them to...even if it means a ‘Rat wins their seats....

I agree.

But I won’t support voting for RINOs for the sake of increasing numbers. It only hurts us in the end.

You vote conservative first. That generally means you vote republican.

If you have several republicans vying for a general election, vote for the conservative one. Get in touch with your local RNC folks and tell them to back the conservative one, if they are endorsing any particular one. Get others to as well, send a little money to them, just pass some flyers out in your neighborhood. Just do a little. If they win for the general, do a little more.

We have to help the conservative repub candidates make it to the general elections, that is why we get so many RINOS and it makes it seem we don’t have much to pick from. We do but if they don’t get to the general election we can’t vote for them.

Two groups of voters made it possible for the Democrats to take control and for Obama to become President. Liberals and the group you have cited in your rant.

I agree, in return. I say purge every last RINO from every last elected position that we can. We may lose a few seats, but if the Party starts showing some spine in the way it supports primary candidates and spends its money, we'll win seats more than enough seats in return from Blue-Dog Dems, with the help of Reagan Democrats, to make up the "loss". But we need every last conservative we can to get this done. Conservatives who decide they're going to ditch the entire Republican Party because of a few losers like Specter, McCain, and the Hag Twins from Maine don't do anybody but the Dems any good.

How about a decent candidate? How about a decent primary where only Republicans can vote for Republicans? How about leadership that has a set of core values?

Flame away, but I voted for McCain because I fell for the same load of crud. I am not doing it again. Give me someone to vote FOR, not against.

One of the most foolish comments....ever.

They are traitors (not just to Republicans, but to their nation) as far as I'm concerned, but if their seats were in Dem hands, there would not even been the debate we have had on porkulus.

Reid would have given Republicans and conservatives the finger and passed anything he wanted.

You appear to have ‘Battered Voter Syndrome.’ You’re an enabler, making excuses for your abuser (the GOP), and you even blame yourself for the abuse. You’re afraid to show any independence, and are terrified of leaving. When others try to intervene or point out your dysfunctional relationship, you invariably rise to the abuser’s defense. You’ve been beaten down to the point of having almost no self-esteem. When the abuser promises not to do it again, you believe them... over and over and over.

We need to put together a winning coalition which makes room for a successfull anti-BHO movement. We must include traditional conservatives, libertarians, religious conservatives, neo-conservatives. This is how elections are won. By putting together winning coalitions. Ronald Reagan did it before. The last time we pulled this off in a really spectacular way it was in the 1994 midterm elections. Back then we had the Contract for America and the American people responded. We can do it again with a positive message and agenda.

We would like to, but we need every conservative we can to get on board and help make that a reality.

Sorry, but people can't have it both ways. They can't throw their hands up and toss the Party in the trash, and then get mad when the GOP runs RINOs. By tossing the Party out on its ears, all you do is remove yourself from having any say, and when enough conservatives do this, they have handed things over the RINOs without a fight. Not surprisingly, then, RINOs nominate RINOs, and the conservatives that are left don't have the numbers to oppose it.

Personally, I think a lot of people in the Party keep their ear to the track here on FR, lurking and whatnot. They may not all agree with us, or even like us, but they want to see what the base is saying. If the base is saying "forget the GOP, I'm taking my ball and going home", then they know that they can more safely get away with running or running as RINOs. If all the various non-Republican conservatives out there - the sit-at-homes, the Constitution Party people, the conservative-leaning Libertarians, the Reagan Democrats who look at the GOP and think "why bother"? - if they all would get on board with the GOP, the GOP would be conservative, and we'd all be happy. It might take a few years, but we COULD and WOULD wrestle the reins of power away from the entrenched country-clubbers and beltway-boys.

Good post, but you are wasting your breath. Many "conservatives" have chosen irrelevance but with "principles".

The damage it has done to their nation doesn't matter.

Unfortunately, the harm has been done, and I no longer really give a damn what they do. Republicans will end up the way they were in the '60s and '70s, only this time, there will be no conservative Democrats to slow down the Marxists.

Yeah, unfortunately, I think you might be right. There are a lot of "conservatives" who'd rather give up and roll over to the Dems - but pretend that they're hanging onto "principles" while they're doing it - rather than roll up their sleeves and get in the fight.

That's why I say that the navel-gazers are lazy.

I've never understood how giving up like a wimp and doing your level best to make sure the Dems retain a permanent majority is "principled".

Anybody who doesn't agree with 100% is RINO!

Actually, anybody who does agree with me 100% is nuts, but I'll keep it grey and quiet.

Amen,he can continue to vote for HIS PARTY,no matter what, but I`ve NEVER been a Republican or a DemocRAT, I AM A CITIZEN who happens to be a CONSERVATIVE! Liberal slow,or liberal fast, whats the difference? Hey die hard Republican, ITS THE CONSTITUTION,STUPID!

If the communists are to make a power grab, better sooner then later, before our "conservative"savior, the Republican party, takes us there by their slower route.

I voted for Bush. Got more government and less freedom.

I voted for Bush again, got more government and less freedom.

I voted for McCain. Dems won because people are idiots.

Government is broken. RINO's aren't going to fix it.

Either the GOP relearns what it means to uphold the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, or this Country will kick off the next Dark Ages in human history.
