I know quite a few have looked at this ballerina, but I have a challenge to you. Can you learn to control your mind and it's perceptions? Once you try this then concentrate on how your thoughts and reactions to things will modify your behavior to overcome fears and limitations.

Watch this video of the ballerina. She turns left or right when you first look at her. This tells you the side of the brain you think with. If she is turning left, it means you think with a scientific mind, if she is turning right, it means you think more with intuition.

After you've noticed this I want to show you how to control your thoughts.

If the ballerina turns right , broaden your focus to the entire screen still noticing the ballerina (some people concentrate on the feet). Since she is turning right, start doing a complex math problem in your head, to some it may be a square root problem to some it may just be adding numbers or the multiplication table). You will see the ballerina change to turning left.

If the ballerina turns left, broaden your focus to the entire screen still noticing the ballerina (some people concentrate on the feet). Since she is turning left, start thinking about an emotional situation, something that makes a true emotional change in your system. You will see the ballerina change to turning right.

Now realize that the only truth in this picture is that there is a ballerina, it is your thoughts that create your reality. It isn't the event that changes your life but your reaction to the event. You can change your life with the change in perception. Man those are some of the most powerful thoughts you can ever give to yourself. We create our own problems by ignoring the input around us.

So when I first opened the page, I saw her spinning clockwise (if seen from above)...and closed my eyes and willed myself to see her going the other way...opened them and there she was, spinning counterclockwise. What does it mean? How can I use this in life?

She goes clockwise for a while and the other way.
This seems silly to me. I don’t know why it means anything.

Counter-clockwise was my first view. I could only change it by closing my eyes and imagining her rotating in the opposite direction in my mind. Then when I opened my eyes she’d be moving in that new direction.

This is like one of those gag beer coasters that says “Please see other side” on both sides. There is no way at all that this is anything but a video of a ballerina, turning right, then turning left, then turning right ...

I’m able to see the ballerina going either way without thinking about anything - what’s that mean?
