My mother and sister have done well on them (as others I’ve known). Hormones can be VERY temperamental....and depends on one’s ‘chemistry’. I’m sure there are other FReepers who are ‘medically inclined’ that know more than I.

(Quite frankly.....chemical hormones don’t appeal to me because of things I’ve read. Call me picky.)

bio-identical is the newest thing....
..supposedly using natural components...My doctor is heralding it and I trust her.
..I'm not a candidate for it at this time, my hormones are balanced.....

..but you should go with your wife and sit in on lectures & ease your mind....also to be supportive.
